This gorgeous hill station in Kerala’s Iddukki station begs to be explored on foot. The pristine air, the beautiful landscapes and the friendly locals make the entire experience a memorable one. The tour includes Head Works Dam (used for first hydroelectricity project in Kerala), Church of South India, the Roman Catholic churches built during colonial times, World War II memorial, Ropeway station (which is the present logistic office for KDHP), Lodge Heather etc. The walk will also give you a glimpse of present-day Munnar and its customs and is the perfect opportunity to get to know your holiday spot better.
