This 2-3 hour trek is one of the easiest in the Munnar hills. It offers wonderful opportunities to explore the varied terrains of these hills which include picturesque grasslands and rocky mountain slopes; the flip side views included swathes of tea and spice plantations and the unique shola forests prevalent in this region. The highpoint is literally the highest mountain Anaimudi (2,695 m), which dominates the skyline. This is also the highest peak in South India.

On a clear day, you can also catch sight of Anaimudi - the highest peak in South India.
