Begin with a scenic train from Nanu Oya to Ohiya, where a stunning Pekoe Trail takes you through the remote Udaweriya Valley. Hike 1.7 km within the valley, peaking at a tea trail crossroads and gradually descending to Haputale. Encounter a stretch of high-elevation tropical and pine forests, and walk through a train tunnel and Thangamale Sanctuary. Stop to see Adisham Bungalow, a well-preserved former monastery. The trail joins the main road at 13.3 km and ends at Haputale Station, with the last few hundred meters on the railway.

Make your way to Tangalle, a picturesque coastal town known for its golden beaches and crystal-clear waters. As evening approaches, embark on a kayaking adventure in the tranquil waters of the Rekawa Lagoon.
